Despite antibiotics and surgeries to remove infected tissue, the condition worsened--eventually necessitating amputation of plaintiff's penis and left testicle due to a necrotizing infection. Defendants denied that there was any deviation from the standard of care. $2,599,832 assessed 91% against Dr. Slocum and 9% against Dr. Peterson on Feb. 3, 2000 Steven Downey (Bowling Green) Donald Darby of Darby & Gazak (Louisville) for Peterson & Slocum; Betty & Jefferson Herbert of Herbert & Herbert (Glasgow) for T.J.
